Alternatively you could just close the latch whilst you have the door open. Just remember to open it before you try to close the door. I do this often when working on cars as I too find the chimes annoying.

Well I'm loving my Titanium X Sport but there's a buzzing sound coming from around the dash area when I switch the car on. Engine doesn't have to be on. Radio is off as is the heater but the buzzing sound is there.
May 18, 2015 路 could well be a relay. there are 2 relays for front wipers. R8 and R11 in engine fusebox. Relay 11 is always switched on whenever wipers work, on any speed. On speed 1 or intermittent, relay 11 outputs voltage through closed contacts of relay 8 and supplies low speed wiper wire. if second speed is selected, relay 8 is also switched on and
Aug 9, 2011 路 Remove the 2 screws holding the carpet trim under the glove box. You will notice the central control box suspended behind the trim. Turn the coloured (yellow) stud 90 degrees to unlock and lower the unit. Fuses are under the cover on the right. Use WIKI to identify the fuse.

Mar 12, 2016 路 sounds like theres an issue with the linbus. known issue that does come to mind is alarm sounder which can get water ingress causing alsorts of issues including random operation of wipers. its behind n/s/front wheel arch liner, if you have the inclination to have a look, arch liner and wheel off, then high up is an alarm sounder, disconnect the sounder , and recheck vehicle for correct operation.
